Terms of use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using CreditGlance ("the Platform"), operated by CreditGlance B.V. ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Service description

CreditGlance is a financial verification platform that allows individuals ("subjects") to share structured, bank-verified financial reports with third parties ("requesters") via time-limited, revocable access links.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract to use the Platform. Use is limited to the countries listed on our website.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Notify us immediately at support@creditglance.com if you suspect unauthorised access. We use passwordless, email-based authentication; keep your email account secure.

5. Open banking consent

Connecting a bank account requires your explicit consent under PSD2 regulations. You may revoke this consent at any time from your dashboard or directly through your bank. Revoking consent will prevent future data access; it will not affect reports already generated.

6. Report accuracy

Reports are generated automatically from transaction data and reflect the period and accounts you connected. They are indicative assessments, not credit scores, and do not guarantee any rental, lending, or employment outcome. CreditGlance makes no representation or warranty as to the fitness of a report for any particular purpose.

7. No automated decisions

The Platform provides information to assist human decision-making. No decision regarding a rental application, loan, or employment is made automatically by the Platform. All decisions remain with the requester.

8. Prohibited use

• Sharing access links with parties other than the intended requester.
• Using reports as the sole basis for discriminatory decisions.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or extract underlying transaction data.
• Misrepresenting your identity or connected accounts.

9. Intellectual property

All Platform content, design, and software are the property of CreditGlance B.V. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform without written permission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CreditGlance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You may close your account at any time from Settings. On closure, your data is deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
